Over 130 menu items, several layers of viewers and millions of pages of scientific information equals one of the largest navigation and layout challenges we have ever tackled. Designed improperly, this rich scientific site might have wound up as interesting as a phone book. MadWolf Design untangled the netting and delivered an attractive, inviting and functional site.

Complex data base integration websites require careful planning.

The large amount of scientific material available from this site, and the many different types of viewers, inspired MadWolf to create audience specific "views", accessed by clicking on the tabs at the top of each page. These direct the three main visitor groups (Scientists, Media, New Visitors) towards content that is most relevant to them. A document management extension to the site's CMS allows meta-tagging of all uploaded content, which then automatically appears in all the right places.
