MadWolf is an IBM Lotus LearningSpace Business Partner. We developed and offer a web-based course catalogue and schedule
system employing Lotus/Domino to extract budget data from SAP. This
workflow-enabled application then uses Java to display course and schedule information specific to staff and clients on both sides of a
firewall. With MOM technology to ensure reliability, applications are
e-mailed to a database for processing and delivered to Oracle back-ends
for report generation.
MadWolf created the Coastal Zone Management course in LearningSpace. We configured LearningSpace servers and wrote an LS 2.0 course
based upon material presented. This course was delivered from the
client’s laptop (configured as an LS Server) to Task Managers located
in South Africa.
On-Line Application Forms are a key part to any educational process and
MadWolf has developed application forms for a variety of clients, courses,
scholarships, and awards. Some forms are on-line and drop directly into
a Notes database; others are mail-in over a firewall, or printed by the
client, mailed and then scanned back into the database.
It is clear that
the future lies in education, and in the potential of the Internet to
fulfill this need.
