Microsoft Teams: New Restart Option for Live Events

Microsoft Teams currently doesn't have an option to resume a live event that has been accidentally ended or interrupted. If you've started an event and encountered a technical problem in the middle of it, chances are that you will need to set up a new event.

Thankfully, Teams is getting a feature that'll prevent unexpected issues from spelling the end for live events.  With the new feature, producers or presenters will see an option to restart their Live Event after encountering a problem or accidentally ending it.  So, instead of having to schedule entirely new live events to get everyone back on the same page, now you'll be able to hit restart and resume as though nothing had happened in the first place.

The feature is currently being developed and will be rolled out on both desktop and web clients globally in July.
