Microsoft Teams Mobile: Access Files Offline
 

 
Microsoft has announced that in a coming in May, Microsoft Teams users on Android will be able to mark files for offline access, and then access them when offline or on a bad connection.
Files available for offline access can be found in the Files section of the app.

 
Microsoft 365 Admin Center Update: OneDrive Sync Admin Reports
In May, Microsoft will be releasing to public preview a new dashboard for IT administrators to check OneDrive sync app versions, sync status, sync errors on individual devices, and to monitor deployment progress of Known Folder Move
 

This new dashboard will allow admins to check the sync status and client version of individual devices, monitor Known Folder Move roll out, and track sync errors. The insights range from a high-level executive summary to a drill-down of sync status per-device, to be used in a variety of administrative scenarios.

Microsoft Excel: Collaborate More Easily in Excel Workbooks
Coming soon, Microsoft will deliver fans of Excel one the most requested features, the ability to track changes. Now, users will see the details of who changed what, where, and when, along with the previous value of the cell for quick reversion. Users can narrow down the list of changes by selecting any sheet, range, or individual cell to see all changes that were made, including bulk edits. 
 
 

Transform Word Documents to PowerPoint
Microsoft recently announced a new capability in Word for the Web that enables you to export a Word document as a professional-looking PowerPoint presentation. This new capability uses AI to suggest imagery, icons, videos, themes, and fonts to arrange your content.

Microsoft announced an enhanced theming experience for tenants. Microsoft have started rolling out the improvements and will be generally available by late May 2021. Through the Microsoft 365 admin center, admins can start playing around with colors and logos and assign custom themes to different Microsoft 365 groups in their organization. The organizational theme is what appears in the top navigation bar for people in their organization.
