Getting the true path of a file in SharePoint
It shouldn't be difficult to simply get the url path of a file that you want to use, say, an image in your SharePoint that you want to use for a news post, but not maintain copies of in onedrive or some other silly location, the file is already in SharePoint!
Well, it turns out that it IS easy...
Simply go to the library where the file is stored, select the file and open the information panel. Scroll down the info panel to the More Details section (all the way at the bottom). Find the "Path" property and click the copy icon:
BOOM! the true URL Path is now copied, go to where you want to use it and paste it!
