Large Folder Delete on OneDrive and SharePoint Document Libraries on Web
Currently large folders cannot be deleted from OneDrive and SharePoint Document Libraries on web. Now, Microsoft is working on a new update for its cloud storage service that will allow users to delete large folders on Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint Document Libraries on web.
This new update will allow folders holding up to 10,000 items to be deleted. If a user tries to delete a shared folder that another user has already started deleting, they will see an error message, “This item is already being deleted.” The deleted folder will still be available in the Recycle Bin to potentially be restored in the future
