SharePoint Copy /Move Operation Updated
Microsoft has announced a major improvement that it will be making to the Move/Copy experience n OneDrive for Business and SharePoint. According to Microsoft, the new feature will be generally available for users beginning in November.
The Move/Copy feature will receive a refreshed user experience that will help make copying and moving files and folders easier for users. The move/copy option currently opens a side panel that allows users to specify the destination for the files/folders being moved/copied to OneDrive, or another SharePoint site, which will change in the future. As explained by Microsoft: “When a user moves or copies a file or folder within OneDrive or SharePoint, they will see a new dialog-based experience to choose the destination for their content”.
