You can now stay muted to avoid unwanted background noise during a meeting and rapidly respond when called upon. You can now use a shortcut to unmute while holding down the keys Ctrl+Space (Windows) and Option+Space (macOS), then release keys to go back to muted state again. The feature is supported only on Teams Desktop.

Pin Your Own Video in Teams Meetings

During a Microsoft Teams meeting, users can currently pin the video feed of other participants to increase the size of the desired video on their own screen. This makes it always visible even when others are speaking. Now, the company is planning to roll out a new feature that will help you to pin your own video on the stage in increased size.
